Basic Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) In-Person Course

Basic POCUS Course is an in-person hands-on training Course designed to introduce healthcare providers to the fundamental principles and clinical applications of Point-of-Care Ultrasound.

This course provides a focused introduction to ultrasound basics, probe selection, image orientation, basic knobology, and selected core POCUS applications relevant to emergency, critical care, and prehospital settings.

The course includes practical demonstrations and hands-on scanning practice to help participants understand basic image acquisition, image optimization, and clinical integration of POCUS findings.

This workshop is intended for educational and introductory training purposes only. It does not certify independent clinical competency in POCUS and does not replace supervised clinical training, institutional credentialing, local protocols, or scope-of-practice requirements.
