Critical Science Academy
1. Purpose
- This policy outlines the terms and conditions governing cancellations, refunds, and related requests for all training programs offered by Critical Science Academy.
2. General Policy
- By registering for any course, users acknowledge and agree to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- Refund eligibility depends on the type of course and the timing of the cancellation request.
3. Live Online & In-Person Courses
For live (virtual) and in-person training programs:
- A full refund will be issued if the cancellation request is submitted at least 48 hours prior to the course start date
- No refunds will be issued once the course has commenced or after the applicable cancellation period has passed
- Requests submitted after the deadline may, at the Academy’s discretion, be considered for rescheduling or course credit
4. Recorded (On-Demand) Courses
For recorded or self-paced courses:
- All purchases are final and non-refundable once access to the course has been granted
- No refunds will be issued after course access is activated, regardless of usage
5. Blended Learning Programs
- Refund eligibility for blended programs is subject to the applicable policies governing live, in-person, and recorded courses.
- Access to any part of the course will render the course non-refundable.
6. Course Cancellation by the Academy
Critical Science Academy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any course due to:
- Insufficient enrollment
- Force majeure events
- Operational or logistical requirements
In such cases, participants will be offered:
- A full refund, or
- The option to transfer to another course or rescheduled session
- The Academy shall not be liable for any additional costs incurred by participants.
7. Exceptional Circumstances
- Refund requests outside the standard conditions may be reviewed in cases of:
- Technical failures attributable to the Academy
- Other valid circumstances deemed acceptable by the Academy
- All such requests are subject to review and approval at the sole discretion of the Academy.
8. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method
- Processing time may take up to 7–14 business days
9. Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
- Failure to attend or complete the course
- Change of mind after course access has been granted
- Failure to meet technical requirements
- Violation of Academy policies
10. Policy Acceptance
- By enrolling in any course, participants acknowledge and agree to comply with this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
11. Policy Updates
- Critical Science Academy reserves the right to modify or update this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will become effective upon publication on the Academy’s website.
